I’m Sarah Land, a Columbia native who loves all things yoga, music, and food. I'm a yogi, teacher, professional violinist, and mom to 4 rescue fur babies. I started practicing yoga in 2014 to manage stage anxiety and treat violin related injuries, but little did I know that yoga would help me flourish both in life and on stage! I found the practice of yoga to be transformative, helping me to shed behaviors and patterns that did not serve my intentions. I began to align with my dharma, my life’s calling— and I wanted to share this life-saving practice! My wish is to empower others to connect with their deepest selves, discovering meaning, purpose, and clarity in their own lives along the way. In 2016, I received my 200 hour yoga teaching certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from the Miami Life Center and am continuing studies in Yoga Therapy (Viniyoga) where I will complete my 1000 hour Yoga Therapist training in 2021. My primary teachers have included Amy Wheeler, Pamela Hightower, and Tim Feldmann with whom I’ve studied Vedic chant, yoga poses, yoga breathing and meditation.
