Pam Lorentz, MSW, RN, LMBT, Owner of Chi Energy Balance
Pam Lorentz, MSW, RN, LMBT, is a Licensed Registered Nurse and Bodywork Therapist with advanced training in chronic stress and post-trauma injury. She is a Veriditas-trained labyrinth facilitator and offers open labyrinth walks and custom workshops for healing and restoring peace, as well as for spiritual enlightenment.
Pam is married and the mother of two sons. She supports environmental projects that protect trees and reforestation. She is a choir member and storyteller at The Episcopal Church of Saint Simon and Saint Jude in Irmo. Pam is also the founding Clinic Director for the Columbia Resilience Integrated Health Community Project, a 501c3 non-profit organization, that provides integrative health therapies for trauma relief and additional self-care programs.
Sound Immersion and Their Benefits
Sound Immersions are an ancient form of deep meditation that includes various ambient sounds played by an instructor. Your instructor during a sound bath uses a variety of different traditional crystal bowls, gemstone bowls, cymbals, and gongs to create repetitive sounds. These sounds are notes at different frequencies that help enhance and guide you through your whole meditative experience.
