CLASS, MEMBERSHIPS & APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

All students are solely responsible for reading and following our guidelines and policies.

 

YOGA CLASSES

Please RESERVE your spot by booking from either this website, from www.momence.com, or the Momence mobile app. While Drop-ins are permitted, some classes fill quickly, so it is best to book beforehand to secure your spot. Please review our class cancellation and no-show policies below.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

We do not offer refunds of classes or memberships purchased. It is your responsibility to read our guidelines before purchasing. Non-use of services is not grounds for a refund. See our workshop/event refund policy below.

 

LATE ARRIVAL

For the benefit of instructors and students alike, we welcome you to arrive at the studio 15 minutes before every scheduled class. The doors will be locked promptly at the class start time, and we do not allow any entry into class once class has begun. (See Studio Guidelines)

 

CLASS AND MEMBERSHIP CANCELATION POLICIES

 

CLASS BOOKING CANCELLATIONS: Class bookings can be canceled via our website, or the Momence website or app. As a last result, class cancellations can also be submitted via email to info@palmetto.yoga, or by calling or texting the studio.

If you fail to cancel your class and are a "No-Show," it will result in the forfeiture of that class purchase (for drop-ins) or usage (for passes and memberships). A missed class cannot be transferred or used for another date. Moreover, after the first offense, any "No-Show" will result in a $21 no-show fee being charged to your card on file. Please note, this is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. No-shows and late cancels limit other members from participating in classes and are disruptive to our member community.

NO-SHOW FEE: Beginning with the second offense, a No-Show fee of $21 will be charged to your card on file if you fail to cancel your booking prior to the start of class. No exceptions. Please note, this is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. No-shows limit other members from participating in classes and are disruptive to our member community.

MEMBERSHIPS CANCELLATIONS: Memberships that are on an auto-renewing basis require written notification of cancellation request by submitting via email to info@palmetto.yoga. Regardless of when the cancelation request is submitted, cancelations will take effect at the end of the current membership period, or later, as specified by the customer. There are no refunds once a membership payment has been processed.  There are no refunds for unused classes or days during a membership period, or after cancelation requests have been submitted.

MEMBERSHIP HOLDS: Auto-renewing memberships may be placed on hold on a case-by-case basis, and not within 6 days of your next scheduled membership payment. Memberships may be put on hold for a maximum of 2 months. Upon the conclusion of the hold period, the customer's membership and payment schedule will resume.

All membership cancellations and hold requests must be received in writing via email to info@palmetto.yoga. Verbal conversations, text messages, phone calls, and other forms of communication are not accepted.

ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP POLICIES:

- Monthly memberships may not be used by or transferred to another person.

- No rollover or extensions on any style of membership. No exceptions.

- In the event of a failed auto-renewing membership payment transaction, you will be contacted by the studio to correct the outstanding balance. Failure to make the payment and correct any negative balance within 5 days of notification will result in the suspension of your account and inability to use studio services.

 

WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS CANCELLATION POLICY

1) FULL REFUND. Cancellation notifications submitted at least seven days BEFORE the start of the workshop or event will result in a full refund.  NOTE: Simply canceling your booking on the app or website does not result in a refund. The written notification MUST be submitted via email to info@palmetto.yoga.

2) REFUND LESS ADMIN FEE. Cancellation notifications submitted less than seven days* BEFORE the start of the workshop or event will result in a refund, less the administrative fee, as outlined below:

Events $30 or less - No Refund

Events $31 - $77 - $30 Admin Fee

Events $78 - $186 - $57 Admin Fee

Events $187 - $497 - $88 Admin Fee

Events $498 - $1200 - $120 Fee

3) *NO REFUNDS. Cancellation notifications submitted less than 24 hours BEFORE the start of the workshop or event, or no-shows will result in NO refund. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Substituting your place to a friend or family member is not permitted. Any openings in an event, a workshop, or a series will be filled from our waiting list.

 

 

SERIES CANCELLATION POLICY

1) FULL REFUND. Cancellation notifications submitted at least 7 days BEFORE the start of the series will result in a full refund. In lieu of a refund, the Yoga for Beginners Series booking may be transferred to a future session (within 6 months). NOTE: Simply canceling your booking on the app or website does not result in a refund. Written notification MUST be submitted via email to info@palmetto.yoga.

2) REFUND LESS ADMIN FEE. Cancellation notifications submitted 2-6 days BEFORE the start of the series will result in a refund, less the administrative fee of $57. In lieu of a refund, the Yoga for Beginners Series booking may be transferred to a future session (within 6 months) with no fee.

3) NO REFUNDS. Cancellation notifications submitted less than 48 hours BEFORE the start of the series will result in NO refund. In lieu of a refund, the Yoga for Beginners Series booking may be transferred to a future session (within 6 months) for a transfer fee of $57.

4). DURING SERIES. Series are non-refundable once started, whether it was attended or not. Once the series has started, if you are unable to continue attending, while non-refundable, the series may be transferred to a future session (if available) for a Transfer Fee. The Transfer Fee is $30 per class remaining in the series at the time of your withdrawal. For example, for a 6-week series, if you provide notification after the 2nd class, you may transfer your series purchase to a future session with a Transfer Fee of $120. If you believe you need to withdrawal from a series, contact the studio as soon as possible at 803.542.7737 or info@palmetto.yoga.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

​

Appointments include Reiki treatments, Yoga therapy appointments, Private Yoga sessions, and any other service appointments.

​

Cancellation notification via email to info@palmetto.yoga is required at least 24-hours prior to your appointment, treatment, or session. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, we will deduct the session from your treatment package or charge your account for your missed appointment if a single treatment was purchased. Please note that we do not accept phone or text cancellations.
