Jeff Sears
RYT-200
A certified registered Hatha Yoga teacher with over 200 hours of training (RYT-200) with Rasika Yoga School (City Yoga of Columbia), Jeff began practicing yoga 15 years ago to help keep his body and mind in good physical condition while in recovery. After receiving the therapeutic benefits of yoga and becoming more grounded in all areas of his life, he was convinced that transformation through yoga is not only possible but also empowering and enjoyable.
Jeff believes that yoga is most beneficial when applied to practical, everyday life experiences. This philosophy means he presents his classes in a way that best serves his students and simplifies a seemingly complicated practice. He offers a challenging yet accessible yoga class that is infused with philosophy, breathing, anatomy and alignment. He is continually growing both as a teacher and a student. His training is ongoing and constantly evolving. His dedication and passion for yoga allows him to continually grow while sharing all of his knowledge and enthusiasm with his students.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m an Army wife, veteran, and mother of two ten-year-old boys. My yoga journey began after my sons were born, when I was trying to lose the baby weight and casually thought that yoga might round out my rigorous workout regimen. I immediately fell in love and had no idea how yoga would change my life, and my perception of true health and wellness. After practicing for about two years, I received my RYT-200 certification from Aura Wellness Center while living overseas in Australia.
I have found yoga to be such an incredible gift and feel blessed to be able to share that gift with others. It has been amazing to witness the physical, therapeutic relief and healing that I, and many people I know, have experienced because of the benefits of yoga. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect has been the incredible transformation it has had on my mind-body-soul connection, and I am so grateful for the impact that yoga has had on my overall sense of wellness, balance, and peace.
I am passionate about introducing and sharing the wonders of yoga with others. I love helping others use yoga to discover, accept, and love themselves. No matter your size, shape, age, gender, fitness or flexibility level, physical condition, mental condition, or whatever else, yoga can and WILL change your life if you choose to practice with an open mind and heart. The divine light in me sees and honors the divine light in you…Namaste.
