A certified registered Hatha Yoga teacher with over 200 hours of training (RYT-200) with Rasika Yoga School (City Yoga of Columbia), Jeff began practicing yoga 15 years ago to help keep his body and mind in good physical condition while in recovery. After receiving the therapeutic benefits of yoga and becoming more grounded in all areas of his life, he was convinced that transformation through yoga is not only possible but also empowering and enjoyable.
Jeff believes that yoga is most beneficial when applied to practical, everyday life experiences. This philosophy means he presents his classes in a way that best serves his students and simplifies a seemingly complicated practice. He offers a challenging yet accessible yoga class that is infused with philosophy, breathing, anatomy and alignment. He is continually growing both as a teacher and a student. His training is ongoing and constantly evolving. His dedication and passion for yoga allows him to continually grow while sharing all of his knowledge and enthusiasm with his students.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient Japanese relaxation technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel light energy into the client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body, restore physical and emotional well-being, and reduce stress.
Reiki combines the Japanese and Chinese word-characters of "rei" (spiritual or supernatural) and "ki" (vital energy). One of the basic ideas held by those who practice Reiki is that this vital energy can be channeled to support the body's natural ability to heal itself, according to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).

Master Certification Course Retreat

This weekend course is a destination retreat that provides in-person training in a relaxing, reflective, and restorative environment. Upon completion, graduates will have the knowledge, tools, and attunement as a Reiki Master, to not only treat as a practitioner and/or deepen their personal Reiki practice, but to attune others to Reiki as well. This course combines lecture, discussion, meditation, journaling, sacred ceremonies, sound bath, guided beach walks and ocean meditation experiences, and hands-on practice, including giving and receiving Reiki. Previous certification in Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Level I and II required, as well as a minimum of six months practice on self, family, friends or as a professional practitioner.
