Shanika Pichey


My love for yoga began in my early 20’s as I was looking for a new workout. I was fascinated by the strong, powerful poses one could create with their bodies through yoga. After many years of contemplation, I completed my 200hr teaching training through Sakhi Yoga. Within this training I learned how your body moves are only part of it. I learned to have love and peace within myself which I strive to share with others. Also, props are your best friend! 

When I’m not practicing or talking about yoga with whoever will listen, you’ll find me hanging out with my sons, reading, knitting, blogging or podcasting with my friend, and vending at Soda City
